Welcome to my Blog
One day, a little shy of 50, and after decades of engineering, I was looking at one of the many spreadsheets I was working on and said, “Nope”. Mild burnout had turned into a full-blown blaze, so I did what any logical, slightly rebellious woman would do: I sold all my worldly possessions (yes, even the ergonomic mouse), packed a carry-on with a questionable number of chargers, and hit the road. Now I am trading kilowatts for cobblestones, project plans for passport stamps, and instead of optimizing systems, I am optimizing travel plans.
Why am I doing this?
Simple, I needed a way to keep family, friends, and curious wanderers in the loop while I galivant around the globe pretending to know where I’m going. I’ll be dropping stories of adventures and misadventures, glorious triumphs and slightly embarrassing failures.
There’s no schedule—this isn’t turning into a job. It’s a sabbatical, not a hustle. Think of this blog as postcards from wherever I happen to be, whenever I feel like writing.
Like what you see? Sign up for the email list and I’ll holler (digitally, of course) whenever a new post escapes my brain and lands on the page.
